Not quite what we expected

This tour was not what we expected. The boat was different than shown. It was a 2 level boat not a traditional boat. There were more people than we expected, over 50. The tour of the coast was much shorter than expected. We spent most of our time anchored in a cove for water activities. We were expecting more of a scenic boat cruise. The staff were great. The food was good. Bus was comfortable and it is a nice drive through the mountains. Border crossings take considerable time, there was a very long wait at the border coming back to the UAE. It is a very long day, pickup was not available in our location so our day started at 6 am and we got home at 9 pm. Booking through Trip Advisor was much more costly than if we had booked through a local company.

Easy way to add a country count!

A good way to add a country count while in Dubai - while the travel time was long, but that was expected and the tour group made the passport control process easy to cross the border. Lunch was also delicious and they did try to fit in a variety of activities. I would recommend it if you want to get a glimpse of Oman.

A long day, and a good way to spend time on the coast

They picked me up at 6:30am from the hotel in Dubai, and I was transferred in a nice bus to the boat site on the coast. The staff tried hard to engage everyone in the activities. Lunch was tasty, and there were lots of drinks and fruit with cookies offered for snacks.
